Maltravieso Cave
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION AND TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE DRAW FOR THE GUIDED VISITS TO THE MALTRAVIESO CAVE
1.- The application to participate in the draw for the programme of visits to the Maltravieso Cave is personal and non-transferable, and group applications will not be accepted.
2.- Applications will be made exclusively through the web platform set up for this purpose, the web address of which is https://visitasescouralmaltravieso.com/.
3.- Each person may register only once. Therefore, only one application will be made, and a rejection message will appear if an attempt is made to register more than once.
4.- The validity of the application is weekly, and a new application must be made in order to participate in the next draw.
5.- Each person registered will receive an e-mail confirming that their application has been accepted, in this e-mail they will be assigned a number to participate in the draw. Notification of confirmation of application does not mean that the application has been selected for the visit.
6.- Every Friday at 10.00 noon, and for the duration of the programme of visits to the Maltravieso Cave, a draw will be made at the DGBAPC headquarters from among the applications received.
The draw will generate a number that will correspond to the first application that obtains a place and so on consecutively the rest of the places offered.
All those applications that have not obtained a place will be placed on the waiting list in order of their pre-registration application number, within the corresponding weekly draw.
7.- The result of the draw will be communicated by telephone and e-mail only to the successful applicants, so it must be understood that if no notification is received within 24 hours, the applicant will not have been selected.
8.- The people who receive the notification of having been selected to attend the visit to Maltravieso have 72 hours, that is to say until the following Monday at 12:00, to confirm their attendance via e-mail (info@first-art.org). This confirmation of acceptance of the result and attendance is obligatory. If you do not receive it, it will be understood that you have cancelled your visit. In this case, the next person on the list will be notified, according to the order of priority of the draw.
9.- Once the draw has been carried out, the period to opt to participate in the next draw will be open again.
10.- In order to give greater visibility to the FIRST-ART Project and with the aim of enabling as many citizens as possible to participate and take part in this experience, people who have enjoyed the guided tour of the Maltravieso Cave will not be able to register again.
Rules of the visit to the Maltravieso Cave
RULES FOR THE VISIT TO THE “BIEN DE INTERÉS CULTURAL CUEVA DE
MALTRAVIESO”.
Acceptance of the visit, once you have been selected in the draw, also implies acceptance of
the rules of the visit, as well as those that may be established by the guide in charge of the visit.
It should be noted that the cavity is warm and with high humidity, so the visit requires a medium
physical demand and excludes people with cardiac or respiratory problems or any other type of
problem incompatible with an activity in this type of environment. For this reason, minors under
16 years of age are not allowed to enter the park, and must submit a signed authorisation from
their parent or guardian.
In order to minimise potential risks for visitors and to avoid possible damage to the Bien de
Interés Cultural (BIC), it is compulsory during visits:
Visitors must at all times follow and obey the instructions of the responsible guide.
It is strictly forbidden to touch the paintings and/or engravings or to touch or extract the mineral
formations inside the cave.
The guide responsible for the visit may terminate the visit or shorten the tour when any of the
following circumstances arise:
If, in his opinion, there could be a danger to the safety of the group or any of its members.
As a consequence of the attitudes of the members of the group in general, or of any of its
members in particular, when
in general, or of any of them in particular, which could endanger the physical
physical integrity of persons or of the cave.
Exceeding the time established for visits (60 minutes per visit).
